Autocomplete has stopped working,  I've tried clear forms
and clear passwords in the Ie6 Autocomplete settings (in
tools>content) but it doesn't help. IE will prompt me to

Hello Readers.
My problem is simply that I cannot browse using IE 5.0. My PC has a
direct connection with my cable modem. I get a valid ip address from my
ISP. I can ping websites using IP addresses but not FQDN. I am running

Windows Update would not install new updates, so I had to
completely reinstall win98se.  The setup would not
function properly so I had to del the whole Windows
folder in dos.  After a successful install, the problem
