In the process of upgrading a Win98 machine to Win98SE,
something went wrong, and I have been cleaning up multiple
problems, including a problem w/ Outlook Express. The
original OE6 seems to have been replaced with OE5, (and

I can send but am unable to receive email messages except

I believe this is a virus, but my virus scanner ins't
picking up on it.  Anyway, my homepage for Internet
Explorer 6.0 will not stay with what I choos it to be. It
forces itself to be this site....

I have a problem when messages are sent from two companies
to my desktop Windows 98 2nd edition computer, with a
certain screen name.  The messages are received, but there
is no content in the message.  If I ask the people to

when I click on a hyperlink inside of OE it pulls up IE(i have v6) but in
the Address Bar the URL is blank. If in IE i click Stop, then the address
shows up and then i can click go to go to the page. Why won't IE pull the
link when I clcik it in OE?

 I just did a clean install of 98SE.
Then, using the Feb 2004 update disk, installed it.
Now, when I reboot, I get the following message:
Error cound not locate D:\content\win9x\win98se\WSEresume.

Everytime I try to do a critical update, I get the

When I delete my temp internet files and then restart and
go to look into my favourites list I find the favicon has
gone back to the I.E default icon.
I believe that is not meant to happen as the favicon does

Hi, I need some help on a problem i have been experiencing
