Random links on various pages will not open when I double
click them. Say there are 6 underlined links on a page,
only 1 won't open and it's usually the one I

I am using Windows 98SE with IE6 Support Pack 1 and MSN 9
Dial-up. I am not using Eudora or Outlook. After being
annoyed many times by "bobtailed" text lines, I resorted
to the View menu and setting the Text size to "Medium".

to myself, i.e., it was from "Marty." But the "from" address was
mart915@juno.com, whereas I'm mart915@anotherdomain. The subject line was

Hi all, Working on a 98 machine. It picked up a whole
pile of Virus/Spyware probs. Fixed the hi jack prob by
deleting suspicious looking explorer file in
windows/system32 folder.

My wife and I have both the same problem (win98 se and winME).
We can't get the disk defragmenter to work without endless number of
retries..   (tho' we haven't tried to let it run all night)
