Last week I started having a problem when I tried running
IE6.  I receive a dialog box that states:  ACCESS DENIED
Your are restricted from running the Ineternet Connection
Wizzard.  Contact your Network Administator for more

Does anyone have a manual for this modem? I'm trying to install it into a
Win98 system P11 233mhz, I've found the drivers, however the modem has 2
jumpers and 6 dip switches on board. I know the 2 jumpers set plug & play
on/off, if I set it to on, it seems to freeze the PC, I'm not ...

If I install the Microsoft Windows98 Second Edition
Updates from a CD I've had for a while, will it install
Internet Explorer 5.0 even though I already have IE 6.0
installed.  In other words, would I need to install IE 6.0

Windows 98.When I try and go on the net my computer
freezes and I have to reboot.
Help please.

Can anyone tell me where I can find the 'name' of my 'Windows folder'...Iam
using Windows 98SE...probably something very obvious!

By mistake I associated the file type.pbd with Wordpad (thanks to the
dialog which automatically opens when an unknow file type is encountered).
How do I rub this mistake out from my system ???  (WIN98SE)

I received an email, it had an attachment aaa.jpg.
When I did a WExplorer search, it failed to find it.  After I did a
save on the attachment, WExplorer could find it okay of course.
So, my question is, where does OE keep the attachments while it has

I am not that computer literate, but I use my e mail alot.
I turned on my computer a few days ago and my tool bar at
the top is not there. It had "create new message, send,
etc." on it. Could anyone tell me how to bring it back?

When I switch to one particular Outlook Express identity, my AOL IM starts
even though I have uncheck the option to automatically log on to AOL Instant
Messenger. Any ideas as to how to stop this... it happens only with one
identity.

I updated my Microsoft, as suggested. I use Outlook
Express to run a DSS dictation program that is used for in
home transcription work. Automatically it was updated to
Version 6, which now shows an error message "OE removed

The emails I have been receiving and writing since last
night have many faded and illegible words and letters
within the message.

receiving the pictures. Instead I get empty boxes with red

Why is ALL my incomimg mail going to my deleted folder
instead of my inbox?  I have no message rules and no block
sender's list!!  Help!
