My friend is running win98 se he gets this error message
every time he tries to start IE  Fatal exception 06 has
occured  0028:00000017.
anyone know whats up with this?

IE 6 won't open from desktop icon, when I click IE 6
desktop icon it acts busy then nothing opens and when I do
ctrl, alt, delete it saids its running.....But it isn't
open on desktop

Have a WIN 98SE and ADSL connection
A week or so ago had problem of running IE 6. Process shows in task
manager as running but doesn't launch the browser interface.
Issue went away and no problems. Recentl installed Mozilla Fireworks

I have 2 extra toolbars that mysteriously showed up and
some porn links in my favorites file.  How do I get rid of
these toolbars?  The are "iSearch"
and "HotSearchBar.com".  When I continually delete the

Most everytime I get off the internet, an error box
appears from Microsoft Internet Explorer telling me MIE
has encountered a problem and needs to close.
There is an option to check to restart MIE and to report

When I log on to sbcyahoo home page there appears a box
(gray)(internet explorer) saying there is an error. It
then has a yes or no. Whatever I press, it goes away and I
am able to function. How do I get rid of this?

I am running Windows 98 with a dial up connection to the
internet on a BT line.
The internal modem has started to self dial to the
internet. I have installed and scanned with Adaware, but

Hi i just got a dsl modem hooked upall the wires between

After trying to remove a program using the Control Panel,
Add/Remove Programs, I now receive an error message when I
