I reformatted my HP Pavillion and reinstalled Win98 2nd
Edition.  Prior to the reformat/reinstall, I kept up to
date with the Win98 updates from Microsoft.  Does anyone
know if I download the latest Win98 update, will that

I would like to setup netmeeting so that i can confrence
call. All the poeple in my organisation will be based all
over the world. I can't even dial the office next door.

I like to use a software like netmeeting on my winxp.
But I need when I share my desktop with my friens, she
could do some works like changing a text on my shared
desktop.

I applied the latest service pack for internet explorer
and now outlook express refuses to open with the
message "Outlook Express cannot be started because
MSOE.DLL could not be loaded". Anybody else experiencing

The Microsoft Windows Update page doesn't update anything
on my computer.  Tried this several months ago and again
today, nothing.  Left the dialog box up for 24 hours last
time, nothing.  How do I get it to update?

This update notification pops up every time I'm online.
I've already loaded that update a bizzilion times
before I realized it was the same one!!

I have tried receiving emails from my server and sais there is 12 in list
but cannot get past 2 before error message appears      Protocol: POP3,

I was told by a to update my Windows 98 second edition
with the new updates which I did.  (I can't afford XP)
Now, I get the message that I have no modem!  The Dell
folks told me that of course I need a new modem!! I

The contents - folders - of My Documents are taking up to
15 - 30 seconds to open.  I have run Norton's defrac and
register optimizer with no improvement.  Can someone help.

Does anyone know if netmeeting will work under 2003 or if
there is a comparable product to meet these needs?
