I have no sound at startup or when I am on-line.I can play my saved music but it jumps around. I have recently instaled a new modem but the sound worked for a day or two after that. PLZ HELP ME!!!!!

I recently had my windows 98 SE reinstalled by a repair shop with all the current divers, etc. When I try to load my digital web cam software...it says to put my Windows 98SE disc in....& says, "cannot locate iyuv_32.dll"

I am trying to upgrade the software for Hauppauge Win TV and I am being prompted for iyuv_32.dll. I cannot locate it in my windows directory and the computer is not able to find it on my Windows 98 cd. Any assistance would be

The volume control icon in the system tray has disappeared. If I uncheck it in Control Panel Add/Remove Windows reboot and recheck it and reboot it still does not restore it. When I look in Control Panel Multimedia, it is grayed out and does not allow an option change.

I cannot use my CD rom, suddenly, and have lost Word, Excel and powerpoint...When I try to reload, it says put in the Windows 98 Second Edition.....when I do, the CD rom won't read it.....

I recently reinstalled Win98 SE on a friends pentium II 450mhz. 128kb ram, 8 gig hd. 52X cd burner and floppy. I need to install his Pioneer DVD reader but don't know how.

I am trying to use a firewire card on windows 98 first edition. I know the ieee 1394 driver is supported on windows 98 SE, but it does not seem to be supported for 98 first edition.

In Device manager I have no sound, video, and game controls. How do I get these back. The drivers are missing. Can't find how to reinstall sound blaster driver and game port drivers.
