I have loaded Ulead photo express and install me digital

I am attempting to install a game on our Win98 system. We
have Direct-X 9 and all tests came out fine. When the

I used to be able to play sound but today I can't. I think
I am missing a piece of the system which gives me sounds
and volume and I may have uninstalled something by

I am having a problem with my speakers.  They were working
fine a few days ago and now they are not working at all.  
I checked my connections and they are fine.  When I
unplugged the speakers because I thought I put the cord in
