dear sirs/madams,
              whenever i start my windows 98 an error
message pops up that there is some error in the system
file mmtask.tsk ( multimedia background task support file)

I put another sound device (1) in my onboard
CPU (2), unninstalling the onboard chip. That's fine,

Hey, everytime I play a video file, and switch to another
type of video file, media player freezes on me. This
renders the desktop unclickable. Media player even freezes
when I stop a video, but does none of this if I handle

I'm trying to use a Creative VIBRA 128 (CT4810) soundboard, but no

When I messed around with my bass boost option, my
computer put the volume icon (a yellow speaker) on my menu
toolbar at the very bottom next to my clock. I don't need
this there, and was wondering how I could get it off.

I'm using Windows XP and sending a CD of Pictures to a
friend who had Windows 98. In XP, inserting the disk
brings up the option of viewing with the Fax Viewer. How
does that work in 98? Thanks!
