This problem is driving my crazy.  I have no volume
control on my tray.  However volume control is checked in
windows setup.  When I try to play something on realplayer
it says soundcard in use.  The sound card works because

I have windows 98,.  I downloaded Windows Media Player,
and discovered that it doesn't play dvds.  Can anyone tell
me what I need to buy/download, in order to watch dvds on
my pc?

i wanted to listen to some music samples and noted there
was no volume icon in the [o, man, i'm so stressed i can't
recall if it's taskbar or what!!] lower right near the
clock.  i went to 'onscreen display' from control panel

Upgraded my machine recently, to a AMD Barton 3200+
processor with Corsair 1024MB (2 x 512MB Matched Pair),
DDR400 / PC3200 sitting on an ASUS Mobo A7N8X-X using the
Realtek audio codec.  After fomatting and re-installing

  I don't have any sound in my computer right now.  So
where do i go to have it back in?  I cannot hear the voice
