not all the time, but on a select few computers won't keep
their mapping of a network drive.  running both 2000
server and nt 4.0 server.  any idea's why?

I have a P4 2.4 CPU in my system.
when I install my network adaptor( Dialup adaptor /
Network adaptor), my windows restart and show this message:
"While Initializing device NDIS: Windows Protection Error.

I am trying to network a Windows 95 computer ( T66 - a Toshiba 660CDT)
to a Windows 98SE computer (Wanda).
I can Start | Find Computer and Wanda shows up
but when I double click on the found computer I get the message:
Windows98 computer won't connect locally but can surf27 Jun 2003 23:04 GMT1
I purchased a used Thinkpad 600E which uses Windows 98 (not SE)
but I cannot connect to other computers on my local network although
I can surf and ping.
The Thinkpad doesn't have a built-in network jack so I inserted a 3com
