when i am on the internet for more than 10 min. ie omes up
with the page cannot be displayed. then when i try to
release/ renew ip i get  error 10050 renewing adapter??, i
have a ibm thinkpad 600x with win 98 with a cnet nic card.

I was wondering if someone could tell me how or point me to a web site
to show me how to connect a DOS system to a Windows 98 network.  I have
the two computers connected through a hub using static ip addresses.  I
have never hooked a DOS system to a Windows 98 machine before.

the program has performed an illegal operation and the p
will shut down. the one that keeps popping up is inetinfo

I've been having some serious network problems with my
labtop computer.  It's running windows 98se and is using a
pcmca(whatever) network card.  I used to be on a network
that required the use of novell and since I've left I

my school has given me all the ip n gateways n what i need
n ive typed them in and it shows me in the network
neighborhood and i can access other people's files, but i
cant connect to the internet.  Also when i start up i get

My USB adapter was working fine but now after using this
CableNut software to speed up my connection, I can't
connect at all.  Is the only way I can restore my default
network settings, to uninstall then install windows?  I

Does win95/98 recognize %logonserver% and allow you do to
copying\pushing of software?
Or do you need third party software.

It has been a while since I installed and used win98, does
anybody know how to disable logon screen at the boot time,
this is my kid's PC and I just installd the OS.

I'm trying to network an XP computer with a 98se one. xp
has been fine, network card installed and all set up but
98 is another story!! When I put the network card in the
computer won't load windows and keeps restarting

I am trying to hook up a wireless linksys network,, was
told by linksys that version 1 of win 98 has to be
upgraded to version 2,, is this up grade available online?
