1 ADSL router
1 98  wkst for writing
1 98SE wkst for file sharing & backup

I am using a cable modem hooked up via an ethernet card.  
How can I get the network icon to show up in my system
tray (lower left hand side of screen where the clock is).

I am using P2P networking between my laptop and my home computer problem is
with home computer it login always without asking network password if I want

I have just had our 2 family PCs set up as a LAN.
The new PC operates with Windows XP home edition and the

I am trying to set up a home workgroup between W2K pro computer and
Win98SE computer.
I can share files with Win98se pc but not W2K pc. I can see W2K on the
98se pc, but cannot log in. A password is requested. I tried the

98 user policys work fine, i dont want to have to set up
