Lost my ICS and went to reinstall.  Has been running fine for 2 years.
Wouldn't connect.  Found exclamation point to ICS adaptor in device manager
KB Q241255 recognizes this and says caused by a  program providing a DHCP
service that needs to be uninstalled before doing the ICS.

When starting a workstation with no server is available, the originally
mapped network drive may loss, and the o/s will ask user 'Yes' or 'No' to
keep mapping network drive when next time system boot up. How to avoid user
answer 'NO' to this question, or just prevent o/s prompt ...

Hi... I hav a network of two PC's set up.
The main PC is XP,  and the second PC is 98se.  
At the moment, I can see the XP and files, from the 98se , but not the
reverse.

I have a little home network, connected through a gateway.  There are 3 PC -

Can you share a Scanner?
How have you connected and shared a Scanner like this Visioneer USB on
Windows 98 and connected to it from Windows ME using Ethernet with a Netgear
router.  The 2 printers are shared but not the Visioneer Scanner.
