ME-SE has me on my knees17 May 2005 04:10 GMT5

I'm running a router with one computer connected via cable and the other via
wireless card. #1 machine had the wireless running W98 and #2 was running

Missing device file16 May 2005 16:06 GMT3
In the process of un-installing and re-installing a Linksys WMP 11 Wireless
PCI adaptor driver (under Windows 98SE), I seem to have 'lost' three driver
files: vnetsup.vxd, vredir.vxd and dfs.vxd, which prevent me from setting up
a home network.
Win98 machine sprouts second network adapter15 May 2005 11:31 GMT3
Two machines, WinXP and Win98, working happily together for years, lose
network functionality overnight, and cannot even ping each other.
Wiring seems OK.  Static IP addresses 198.168.0.1 and 10 on subnet mask
255.255.255.0 seem OK.

What is the best site out there, for tweaking your internet speed in the
registry, when you have cable? I find that so many have bad info, talking
about keys that are not there and such.
