How do I install Networking Components on my Win98se computer. I dont
have the Network Neibour Icon and have received a message after trying

I have just added a W98SE machine to an existing wifi network.
It can ping and be pinged, and it can be browsed from another machine.
But it cannot access the Internet.

I have just set up a wireles router ( belkin ) on my XP desktop and have a
usb Balkin wireless network adapter on an Win98 laptop

My Win 98SE Notebook is networked to a Win 2000Pro.  When trying to  access
the Win 2000 PC from the Win 98 Notebook I get a message "You must supply
a password to make this connection"   with a space for a password input.

D-Link 10/100 NIC for her, but after finding the D-Link drivers, the install
program is requesting the '98 CD. She can't find it and I'm long, long away
from 98.

I have got a wireless network between my Win XP laptop and my Win 98 desktop
and I did have it working perfectly.  However whenever I restart or shutdown
a/both of the computers and then wait the network isn't working even by in

I am having trouble setting up a home network between my 98se desktop and my

There are two WindowsXP computers on the LAN.
I believe I noticed that they both used "User" as the Username.
There are also two Win98 computers on that LAN.
They are set up so they do not require a login after booting.
