My Win 98SE Notebook is networked to a Win 2000Pro.  When trying to  access
the Win 2000 PC from the Win 98 Notebook I get a message "You must supply

I have got a wireless network between my Win XP laptop and my Win 98 desktop
and I did have it working perfectly.  However whenever I restart or shutdown
a/both of the computers and then wait the network isn't working even by in
run typing in \\(then the other computername).  But ...

I am having trouble setting up a home network between my 98se desktop and my
xp home laptop. I have internet access thru my linksys wireless router, but I
can't seem to set up a network connection between the two.

There are two WindowsXP computers on the LAN.
I believe I noticed that they both used "User" as the Username.
There are also two Win98 computers on that LAN.
They are set up so they do not require a login after booting.
