Have a minimal DSL connection running but was seeing some suspicious
UDP port activity hitting the software firewall (which claimed to block
everything). I was especially dismayed to see that an occasional packet
was outbound. Looked again at the TCP/IP settings for the NIC and

 I would like to run a batch, once, every time the network is
connected. But the task scheduler seems not to have this possibility
"network connected". It can at windows start. Not at network start.

I have 6 pc's in a workgroup, 5 run windows xp professional, one run windows
98.
I can access all files on all xp computers from the 98, but all xp computers
get "access denied" when trying to access the 98 computer.  The 98 computer

This is weird? I have one destop computer with 2 seperate hd's. The
primary has XP home. The other I installed win98se. When I installed

I am trying to network an HP 3550n printer with (2) Win98se computers

I have 2 windows 98 machines that I've set up in a P2P network.  This
is the situation:
1.  Both machines have the same HW in them, a video card in the AGP
slot, and a sound card and network card in the two ISA slots.

I have Win98SE.  If I open up a DOS window, and ping to anything, I get
nothing but timeouts.  In Windows, browsing works.  I have DSL.  I also have
Tiny Personal Firewall.  Maybe it's configured wrong, but I do not know what
to change to make it work.  Any ideas?
