So I switched from an ADSL-connection to fibre and I would like my
Windows 98-running desktop to connect to the net through LAN. This
should work by simply plugging the cable from the ethernet card into
the box on the wall, and it works fine on my XP-equipped laptop.

Have 6 pcs networked in house via cat5. All pcs are running both tcp-ip and

I've saved in Folders (export?) so I can install Win XP and then download
(inport?) the Files into the OE in XP.
