I have a WIN98 (Gold?) PIII 233Mhz. DELL Inspiron 3500 laptop I'm trying to resurrect. The network setup area (Control Panel) must have a zillion entries in it -- well, OK, about 20 -- from TWAIN to AOL adapter to D-LINK wired Network Card PCMCIA (DFE-690TXD) to you-name-it.
I am wondering how do I setup my pc for printer sharing. The pc is connected to a DSL router, and the laptop connects to the DSL router through a wireless card. Currently, the pc can print to the printer, because there is a direct connection between the printer and the pc.
I know win2003's gpo cannot apply to win me or lower, but are there anyway for win2003 to manage a win98se computers because few of the workstations in office are still using win98se
