I have a peer to peer network running. Each machine has it's own IP (10.2.3,1) etc. I used ethernet cable to connect all into a 8 port switch. (98 and XP machines by the way) What do I need to do to get DSL access for all systems on the network? DSL

I have PcAnywhere installed at two locations. In one location just 8.02 version of PcAnywhere for Windows 98, and at other location same version plus PcAnywhere older version for DOS: I'am connecting two locations with modem connection.

We have 2 xphome computers and 1/98. All 3 connect direct to a Highspeed internet (phone not cable) router. I ran the network wizard and the 2 xps recognized each other but neither recognize the 98 despite running the xp disk in the 98

Windows just will not assign an IP address to "Intel(R) Pro/100 VE Network Connection", I've tried uninstalled the drivers and TCP/IP, Assigning one myself and Windows update. I'm at the end of my rope. Suggestions?

I get this error when I try to connect to network drives. Every time I must Logoff and logon - then I can connect. I want it the way it's on the second machine - it asks user name and password every time I go in Win98 and I dont nee to logoff/logon.

I'm trying to use a direct cable connection to give my XP PC access to some files on my Win 98 laptop. Is this possible? I'm using a "laplink" type cable. (Had success in connecting 2 W98's but am having probs with the 98 -> XP connection).
