I have one machine with 2 network card. One card is connected to
highspeed modem and the other to a router, connected to 2 other computers.
When the router is connected, I cannot go on line. When the router is
disconnected( remove cable), I can go online.

Just clean-installed Win98SE.  Tried running game called Heretic II.

I am trying to network two Win 98 machines and I am having communication
problems.

Simple File Sharing and could read/write files from each computer to the
other.  I use the Network Setup Wizard on the XP and its created floppy on

Have a laptop running Win 98se.
Have on board wired lan card that connects to router and gets on the net

card in 98se.  I've been onto Belkin who have given me several versions of
their drivers but it comes down to the same thing... "Error 1F6 Windows can't
install the driver for your device" (or similar ...
