Win 98.
Unit boots up normal.
keyboard  /  replacements will not work. System check indicates keyboard is
working OK.

i installed a new pc for a user at work and he is not able
to use the alt+tab function to switch between different
open programs.  he was able to do it before, i know we are
doing it right b/c i have tried it on my pc and it works

When I try to install programs, I get a message that says
'Invalid version of the RPCStub. Setup will now terminate.'

Having just upgraded my 750MHz Athlon system from 256MB
PC100 CL2 to 1GB PC133 CL2 RAM (verified compatible with
m/board by Crucial.com and m/board manuf.), I now find
that the system periodically locks up (no keyboard or

I've read a couple of problems with memory low and I have
the same problem basically.  I have 760 mb total ram and I
only have 41% at the most on the perfomance page.  Would
it be wise to upgrade to XP due to a glitch in 98??  My

Please help! Mysteriously my Windows 98 SE
My computer support automatic shut down; since it's
motherboard ASUS P4 SGL-VM support this feature.
The problem is when I click shut down menu, it's

a error message on my desktop (This program has performed

About 2 days ago I "successfully" upgraded my Win98 SP1 to
Win98 SE.
As of a day ago, I started getting the following message
(s) on startup:
Unable to format hard drive29 Jun 2003 16:42 GMT1
Windows 95, DOS ver.5 (I believe). When I try to format
drive C, In DOS, I get a "Format Aborted" message.

I have a very slow windows start-up.  I would like to know
how to permantly delete these programs so that they will
not interfere with performance.  I can always shut them
down my pressing ctrl., alt., del., but who wants to do
