items on the list.  Can someone tell how to delete them

I know there is a way to reset your computer to a previous
point in time.  I've done it before but don't recall.  I
totally stripped my hard drive of everything.  As soon as

The scan disk shows some bad sectors - I had the scan disk

to boot from a startup disk ( I should have mentioned that
before ), but the computer ignored drive A: during post
and continued on to boot from drive C:. The computer is
