I am getting very slow cursor movement when typing in e-
mails and also system resources are only at about 50% as
soon as I start up the machine, I think they are related,
any suggesions as to how to free up the system resources

When I download messages from newsgroups I am not recieving details of the sender in the from column, the problem does not exist with e-mails.
Can you tell me how th fix the problem.
