I had windows 95 and was upgraded to Windows 98 on my old
machine.What does the message mean, "You have performed
an Illegal Act and will be shut down"? How do I stop this

My computer freezes alot. It freezs randomly. I defrag

My computer's clock seems to stop working when I turn off
the computer each day. When I arrive in the morning, my
computer clock is still on the previous day. I can reset
it, and it works fine while I am working during the day.

I'm creating a delphi program that needs a lot of
TWinControls and therefore eat a lot of system resource.  
No problems occur when i run the program on Windows 2000
or Windows XP.  However with Windows 98 a get all sorts of

have enough free memory, quit one or more programs, even

Ever since I decided to do a clean reinstall of Win98SE
(including FDSIK & FORMAT) it occasionally pauses for an
excessive period during disk intensive activities. It
boots up ok (in ~30 sec) and shutsdown real fast as I've

didn't save removed entries.  Now, on boot, monitor

I am no longer able to move my desktop icons around where
I want to. If I move one, it just goes to the end of the
list. Does anyone have any suggestions?
