I installed Coreldraw on my win 98 se system, and now it will only start
in safe mode. When I try to do a normal reboot, or even a selective one
with most of the drivers, which were there before, loading, I get a
black screen almost immediately, and the error message:

The other day when I started the PC a message came on
saying about windows 98 upgrades from Microsoft.  I said
what the hell as it was free. After that the PC ran Slow.
We have 2 hard drives one 10 and the other 120.  10 is the

I m running a Time AMD K6 with 128MB on Windows 98SE.
In the hope of speeding things up I recently added another

I just bought another desktop. It comes with a 40gig hd, floppy and dvd rom.
The hookup is a little confusing to me, compared to my older computer. The
floppy seems to have a different type of ribbon, which may be normal, and it
has a empty connector in the center of that ribbon, ...

Does any one know if there is an upper limit on how much
memory windows 98 SE can use or accept?  Every time I try
to upgrade beyond 512 meg, whether it's adding my 2 256meg
chips to the new 512meg, or adding the new 512 in sequence

I just got my computer back after a week and a half of it

I have the same problem as Mike.  Whenever I try to view a
jpeg the message is the same:  cannot find program.exe.  I
have had this problem for a long time.  Any suggestions.

I have just reinstalled Windows 98 on a new hard drive
replacing a crashed and unrecoverable hard drive. But
