Support Service. It is exactly what is happening on my
system but the article did not give a resolution for the

How can I tell what is running on my computer at any one
time? It seems when if has booted it runs at around 70%.

I have a really strange problem that has started.  When
starting up anything, Internet Explorer accessing
internet, any application at all, help screens, games,

I have Windows 98.  3 games, Yahtzee and Solitaire Antics

The following situation occurs once every 3-4 months.  The
computer will suddenly shut off and then immediately
reboot.  I get no error messages or any warning.  The
screen goes black and then reboots and runs the scan disk

My computer locks up and I need to reboot.  What fix is

Recently I noticed that Win32 is working when I attempt
to shut Windows down.  I receive two boxes advising that
it must be shut down before Windows will shut down.  I
keyed Ctrl, Alt, and Del, and discovered  "winoldap" is

not sure how to phrase the dos language to rename 98 to
oldwin.

Using a Toshiba laptop with Windows 98 SE, I have begun to
have a Windows blue screen occurring (I believe)

same error message: " system file error - system files
have been replaced with older versions by a program
recently ran. These files are in use and can't be

Everytime i go to play a game on my computer, this error
