Hello,  I have recently reloaded my Windows operating
system. When I go to My computer>C: drive, the pie chart on
the left shows that I have a 13 gigabyte hard drive. What
I installed was a Western Digital 40 gigabyte hard drive.

The system clock intermittently reverts to May 7, 2001 when

I have a 128MB ram memory running Windows 98.  It is
constantly on 63% performance.  I have tried to eliminate
all unnecessary programs but to no avail.  Does anyone
know what Microsoft built-in programs can be eliminated

When I start up on Windows 98 I am asked for a password.  
I can hit cancel and proceed but am not able to change the
password that came with the computer.  Is there any way to
do that.

Our MIS people applied the most recent patches to my Win
98 after this virus/worm scare. Now when I open a folder
window, the date modified is missing. This is something
that I refer to all the time. I can't find anywhere to

When scanning it takes a very long time.  I get a message
that a program is writing to windows.  Also, I am unable
to defrag because it keeps changing and starting over.  
I've closed all applications.  I do not have any power

If I'm in hotmail and go for a period of time without and
keystrokes, the system will start a defrag.  This also
occurs when an IM session is running.
Has this happened to anyone else?

whenever we reboot our home pc, the password screen pops
up for windows and then almost instantly, we get the
invalid page fault, "CSINJECT caused an invalid page fault
in module QDCSPI.DLL"   Any help with this annoying matter

I have an elderly customer running windows 98 who prefers
to view images she receives by using Netscape as the
viewer. She would double-click an image and Netscape
would launch and display the image.

I'm not sure how to even look for the answer. My elderly in-laws have a
Celeron 333Mhz w/512Mg RAM and use Win98SE.
They are telling me that anytime they click on a menu tab that drops down a
list of submenus, their screen freezes. They insist it happens regardless of

what is file "dnetc.exe" used by Windows? virus scan found
it as a 'possible unwanted' file. cannot delete
conventionally.
