when i open my pc and click on window explore it open
document and other file so late it take may be 1 or 2
minute than open and if i wnat to open any folder an
double click on folder it also take may 2 minute so please

I have seen this problem described here on this Newsgroup
a few time now so I am somewhat surprised that nobody yet
knows what is causing the problem and has discover a

I installed redhat linux on a wdc 20 gig drive.  I then
fdisked this drive and reinstalled win98.  Now when I
startup I get the win98 splash (logo) screen I would
normally get, but then the screen goes blank for a full

My PC is suddenly running very slow, when I ctrl/alt/del I can see ixapplet

Defragmenter continues to start over.  I'm not certain how
to determine if any programs are running and how to
disable them.  Norton anti-virus has been disabled and
screen saver changed to "none".

How can I keep my CPU down to a normal or low percentage?  
My cpu is always at 100%, and that makes my computer very
slow.  I have recently added some memory and my total is
about 192.  I have also downloaded the required updates

times.  AOL HELP advised that my computer had "damaged
