continous running of Disk Defrag with no advancement23 Sep 2003 04:03 GMT2
With usage of the Disk Defrag the Windows 98 unit just
grinds the hard drive without advancing towards any de-
framentation. Any solutions? Possible illnesses?

My C drive is almost full, 2gb.  Are there any components
or files not needed in 98 that can be removed for free up

I am having constant Fatal Exception errorsthat kick me
off aol. Errors like mshtml.dll, user32, kernel32.dll that
also kick me off aol. Registry Checker runs on startup
alot when I know there is no memory probelm, since the

I have a list of UPD that are missing when I did a profile
with BELARC.  thewy are UPD 238453; UPD 239887; UPD 256015
and a bunch more.  I tries to reinstall WIN 98 but  it did

When I start defrag, the machine just hangs and the only
way to get out is to reboot. Has anyone had this problem

The system clock and the time on the task bar are slowing
down at the same rate. As the time slows, so does
performance. A reboot get everything back to normal for a
short period of time. It appears that the time loss is

When I start up my computer an error message pops up that
