How can I stop the Iexplore dialogue box from coming up
all the time. It tells me "This program has performed an
illegal operation & will shut down". Nothing shuts down
though.

 My friends computer keeps going into safe mode.She
cannot find out what is wrong and though she has managed

I have 128MB ram in my computer. But in system property it
is showing 127MB. Why it is showing 127MB instead of 128MB.
Where is that 1MB memory.

I am getting 5 to 7 general protection fault .... error a day while running
different applications.  Applications include Profit, ACT, Outlook, as
well as, explorer.  Any assistance is GREATLY appreciated.  Thanks.

My system has 256MB SDRAM, but when I open multiple apps,
the system resources drop to less than 60%.Can Win98 use
more memory? Will more memory cure the Problem?

Recently my CDRom has not been working right.  When I put
in a CD like PrintArtist, The Sims, etc you can hear the
start up as usual then very soon my cursor goes back to
normal & nothing happens.  When I have removed one CD to

When I run System Monitor I see that windows has set the Allocated memory to
approx.  125MB, which is approximately 50% of my specified Swap file size.
What is the Allocated memory and and how does it decide what size to set it.
Does it make any odds that is greater than my physical ...

Help, Pleaseeeeee.  This is my problem:  Everytime I open
win98SE, I get this message: A Fatal Exception 0E has

The numbers on the end of the message change everytime I

I can't get my system to start.
I get an error message saying the system cannot find any
operating systems and it asks to hit any key to continue at
which point I hit a key but it keeps repeating the same
