Have been advised that I need to format and then reload
Windows 98.  Please where can I get instructions about
formatting and reloading.  Have already tried to repair
Windows, and have uninstalled and reinstalled Canon MPC400

i just purchaced a new mainboard, chip, powersupply, tower, and hard drive.

I put in misconfig and it says I don't have it.  Also, I
had to restore my computer once from a disk and now it
never seems to be able to defrag.  Starts, gets to 10% and
restarts.  Help.  Thank you.

I just have to share this with you.
In 1998, I upgraded my PC by installing a new motherboard, Pentium
333Mhz processor, 32Mb RAM and Win98SE, and was very proud with my PC's
performance. However, as time went by, I installed a new HDD (20Gb),

Can anyone advise me how to increase memory from 64 meg SIMM to 256 DIMM.  I
believe that both DIMM and SIMM slots can be used.
Would any BIOS or M'board parameters have to be amended?

Can't tell what half of them are and they're sucking

I am running win98 4.1
My computer freezes up time and again, not during shutdown
or startup, but while using any application, software
program and on internet. I have a HP Pavillion; don't know
