my computer will not let me chang color settings from 16
bit to 256 along with sreen resolution

One of client have about 15 computer and all having
shutdown problems....i have applied the patch from MS, but

I have no idea of what's wrong but, for some reason, I
cannot change my laptop's clock. The menu will open that
lets me choose a timezone, choose if I want the clock to
automatically change for Daylight Savings Time, and set the

RNAAPP loads everytime I turn on or restart my machine.  
This sometimes causes problems while I am on-line, and it
is a little annoying.  Does anyone know how you stop it.  
My machine runs Win 98 4.10.1998.

we are getting a message that system resources are running

Helping my neighbor.  They have a CompUSA 266 Mhz system with 98 meg
of RAM.  This week I did a re-format and clean install of Win98se.
All went smooth as glass UNTIL I installed the sound drivers
(ESS1938.inf).  The system has sound until I reboot or shutdown.  On

Almost but not always my computer (win98) locks up after
closing internet explorer. Also occassionally but not
frequently it will lock up before I close it. I once also

My recycle bin has disappeared off the computer totally.  
Is there any way for me to reinstall it or copy it from
another computer?  I am despirate.  Is it possible that my
anti-virus deleted it when it installed it's secure

I do not understand why my Windows98/Compaq shows these messages/warnings
during programs. I click off the box and the program disappears. I have to
start it up again to get the program back.
Is there any rhyme or reason to these illegal messages?
