during closedown my computer displays "this program has
preformed an illegal operation" window for just about all
programs on my computer

When I start up Windows I get a message of page fault for
IEDLL.EXE.  I go to my install disk and it says the file
is corrupt.  Is there a way I can get a good version of
IEDLL.EXE?  My system is unbearably slow.

using win-98 all my icons are showing in black

I had my homepage set to Yahoo.com but one day it wouldnt
open....i talked to someone at my internet provider and he
said that my computer isnt recognizing the IP address.Can

When I double click on My Documents, My Computer, Recycle
Bin, Explore, on my desktop icons it takes about a minute
to open these files could somebody tell me what is wrong.

every time i try to run scan disk, i get a fatal error.  
it says fatal exception OE,    In VXD VWIN32(05).  
This error also comes up with my splinter cell game, and

The screen goes dark and the system hibernates and will
