I run win 98se and I have a problem booting my machine.
from shutdown, I boot and it gets to a black screen saying:
Incorrect boot record. remove all disks and insert correct
boot disk. Now, there are no disks in any of the drives.

I have come across an exception error whilst strating my
laptop using windows 98, the exact wording is an exception
OE has occurred at 0028:0000000z in VxD ---. This was
called from 0028:C18489D0 in VxD ---. Any ideas on how to

When I try to open any program I get an illegal operation
error.  With the Explorer, it caused the error and with
outlook express, msimn.dll causes the error.  It is
always in module URLMON.DLL at 017f:la403cca.  I'm not
