I just moved a computer from work to home. I uninstalled
and deleted a bunch of extranious stuff including the
printers that were installed on that computer because I
iinstalled a new lexmark printer at home.  the problem is

which has started to make a wailing siren alarm sound very
intermittently, no programs are running except the O/S and

I just recently upgrade to 128M RAM in order to use DSL.  
I've noticed that my keyboard/mouse lags my screen and I
haven't been able to debug.  I've check my system

Looking for help getting my lap top running with win98se.
Had problems with win 95 so installed win98se after
formating c: drive. Now when trying to start win98se I
get a message saying "While initializing device VFBACKUP:

when i using windows for an hour, it pop up a messgae saying something like
"system resources not enough". what's the mean about the message?
the message's background is not gray in color, is white in color, and it

When there is a very slow boot up on a machine, I know
there is a setting that you can uncheck to speed up the
boot up that has to do with a network log on setting.  Can
you refresh my memory as to how to disable this setting?

While trying to installer Kodak EasyShare 3.1 from CD or
website about 2/3 through the download I get an error
message saying that the download cannot be completed

Having just connected up a sound card speakers and amplifier, downloaded
drivers etc. It all seems to work but I get this strange message.

Hi...I am using Windows 98SE.
I have two problems.
1. For the last few days I haven't been able to get into
my mailbox in Yahoo. I know it's my computer and not

working beautifully.  Except when I try to reload WordPerfect 2000
