Installed windows 98SE over windows 98 OE. All of the
icons disappeaed and text for the programs appeared. then
all of the text and icons  disappeared. Any advice will be
greatly appreciated.

Hi Everyone, I would be grateful of some help, please!
Running W98 and all USB devices have been installed and working fine.
However, installing an Alcatel Speedtouch modem has produced problems!! I
have overcome the 'power dropping off' problems and am left with a boot up

This file was inadvertently deleted...(long story).
Anyway, I would like to know how I can restore that file
without losing any files or wiping out anything. In other
words, I'm hoping to restore the file without uninstalling

64 MB VIDEO CARD AMI BIOS 8 (I THINK) WITH NO INTEGRATED
BOARDS, THIS MACHINE HAS WORKED GREAT FOR RECIEVING
REMOTE DATA AT 2AM VIA A 3COM SERIAL MODEM ON A DIAL UP

After playin a game and exit game then try to start
another application or connect to the internet through my
old fashioned dialup, I get this error:
Error loading RNAUI.DLL

Why when I delete programs downloaded from the internet
for example Gator and Bonzibuddy is there still a file in
the start-up box and how do I delete these?

I am running windows 98 SE...my computer will stay on all
day if not connected to the internet....if I connect to
the internet it will stay on maybe 15 minutes and just
shut down by itself....anything I can do to fix this?

My Quikview utility stopped working for jpg files.  (It
used to work with them) Now "Quick View" simply doesn't
appear when I right click a jpg file. It opens for other
files though, like txt and bmp.

System freezes up for approx 7 secs every minute or so

I am finding theses running in my system config utility
under start up and I am wondering what they are?? and if

Suddenly am unable to open any page...No matter what the address, recieve
"This page cannot be displayed"....As soon as this comes up, in the addy bar
there are three addys that keep running through on their own, over and over

I defragmented the hard drive and now none of the games
work, error messages are always coming up and it doesnt
recognize the video card (its brand new!!!).  Can someone
tell me how to get the games to work or something ??? TY
