After I turned on my PC I got the "system resources is

I have Win 98 and computer is beginning to freeze a lot.  
Nothing helps, such as cont alt del, etc.  Have to just
shut power off and wait for scan disk when it restarts.  I
have done scan disk, defrag, cleared temp files. but it

recently installed software for a digital camera.  after
installation i received the message 'system must restart
to complete install'.  not a problem.  however, when it

Problem just began.  For years now, my Windows Explorer view has been
the "detail" view rather than the "list" view.  Explorer has ceased to
show the "detail" view.  If I choose "icon" the icon with title will
appear.  If I choose "list" a simple list of files will appear.

I have way too many programs starting in up automatically
when my computer starts up. I can't find a way to stop
them from starting. I have tried Settings, Task Bar/Start
