At startup, I get all the way to the windows desktop and
then a box comes up with Registry editor in the upper
left  corner and the error message is this:
"Error: cannot import sys.reg; error opening the file.

I am experiencing a strange problem with memory on my PC.  
I have an AMD K7 with 256MB of RAM.  The machine sees
256MB at boot up (and I have also run an ancillary DOS
utility to test the memory).  Windows 98 indicates that it

2".  How can I translate this into a traditional clock
speed, i.e.  500 MHz?
