I have two issues on two different computers
One computer is always (most of the time) running the cpu
at 100%. Any advise would be appreciated.
The other issue applies to both. I have quite a few items

When I reboot my computer i am getting an error mess that
says.....error loading C:\WINDOWS\BXXS5.DLL...if anyone
has any ideas on how to fix this please reply....thanks

I assume that it's safe to delete all the *.tmp files in this folder.

Lost "Windows is Shutting Down" screen but it does shut
down. It goes to a blinking cursor and takes a long time
to turn off. Just installed new H.D. and loaded 98se on

Friend had adware/spyware all over system, dialers(coder.exe) and a nasty
from (Aureal?).
I used Ad Aware 6 pro and removed it all supposedly but now hard drive light
blinks every 20-30 secs.

My usb ports do not work since I had a new motherboard
installed. Anytime I plug something into one of these
ports The computer doesn't recognize it. Is there
anything I can do to get these working?

I have a Dell Computer running W98. Every since I switched to DSL, I
have not been able to use my Fax program to send a fax because it is
still trying to connect through the 56K modem that is no longer
installed. How do I make it send through the DSL line?

I am having problems with programs crashing and not
installing properly.
Whenever I 'ALT CTRL DELETE' it shows that a program
called MSccn32 is not responding.

I have recently noticed that upon Win98 startup, if I look
to see what is running, I am told that Winservn is not
responding. I think this may be the source of problems I
have had running certain software, but I'm not sure.
