Has there been a upgrade of windows 98 to windows 98se?
Would like to install a wireless router and adapter that
requires windows 98se.

On this W98 machine, the control panel window has
suddenly started taking about 30 seconds or more to open.
Any ideas why this would happen?

I have Windows 98 and need to reload factory settings.
My Windows 98 came preloaded, with a Recovery Disk that
is unreadable from within Windows.
On the disk it is indicated that you must boot directly

after my Win98-system is booting, there are about 30 seconds hard-disk activity.
i used a file-monitor and it showed, that the process "explorer" reads every
startmenu-entry and reads data from every exe,htm,hlp-...file that has a link in
my startmenu.

I have a PC that's using win98 and it keep restarting
itself after I shut it down. I've been having this problem
for a while now. Dose anyone know how to fix this.
