I have a Win 98se computer that either hangs during the
shutdown command and does not go beyond the "Windows is
shutting down" screen or it restarts instead of shutting
off.  Does anyone have any idea as to how to fix this?

I have two problems, first, when I shut down, it will only
go as far as "window is now shutting down", then I have to
use the start up button. My second problem is it will go
into slow  motion, like when using the mouse, it will stop

share a cable connection with 2 PC networked together thru a linksys router.

i constantly get stopped in the middle of something saying
i dont have enuf memory to run it.  if i reboot it will be
okay for awhile then happens again. when i scan disk it
says invalid chains causing prob.  its okay for little

I am a Windows 98 user and I recently started to get this
error message when I sign on:  Can't find file fntldr.exe
or one of its components.  Make sure the path & filename
are correct & that all required libraries are available.
