Dial-up networking has a mind of its own to pop up the dialogue box on booting up - but not always. It will close down, eventually, by just repeatedly closing it down. I haven't been able to find just what is kicking it off. Any suggestions

I just added 256mb to the original 64mb of my computer. After running just a few programs (IE, MSN IM, etc) my computer is low on memory. Maybe there is something running in the background but I don't know how to check it

A recent F-Prot definitions file was faulty and gave a false positive on and recommended deletion of IExplorer.exe (and one other file). I followed this advice which then made Windows98 inoperable (the computer would not boot up). The only option was to re-install Windows 98.

When I start my computer (Win 98SE) I enter my user name and password (I also tried a new user) and after that all I get is a blue screen. My mouse moves but nothing else comes up on the screen.
