I have Win98SE and IE6 - when I use OE6, I notice the system tray clock
stops (it may advance a second or two, but only that), and when I exit OE6,
it starts again, behind the time lost.
Comments/suggestions/solutions

Every time I try to shut down my conputer, I get an error

three minutes of constant CTRL-ALT-DELETING to restart the
computer and I have had, at times, to completely give up
and press the restart button rather than shutting down
