I'm regularly getting error messages that read: "a fatal
exception OE has occurred at 017F:BFFAADOB"  Anyone know
what this means and the cure??

I am using windows 98 OS and some times , while loading
desktop, my pc shows Fatal exception errors!!

The computer is running in MS DOS Compatibility mode and I
cannot get it to return to Normal.  This compromises the
performance and the colors in the display.  I get a
message in the Performance section of the system

have had an expert check it and he couldn't find out what

Is there any way to allocate more memory for User
resources? ccording to Norton System Doctor, the maximum
USER Free memory I have is 54% and it quickly falls below
20% as I open multiple browsers.

I am unable to install any "Quickbooks" programs. On all
of my attempts, I receive the same message - " not a valid
win32 application"
I have verified that Quickbooks versions as recent as 2004

FastView, a viewer application I downloaded some months ago, takes over
every download application or upgrade I try.  The file downloads as a
doc file (yadayada.exe.doc) and when I attempt to install it, all I get
is a huge document full of jibberish, which I assume is visual ...

but on 98 this cmd is not available.
is there a portable way to schedule tasks over cmd line & from inside

A friend of mine has this HP computer and for 4 years, she has added,
