When I open help file i get the index & contents but the answers on the right side dont come up. Also when I click on a program to open it takes a very long time to open or else does not respond at all.

The computer is running very slow. Right clicking creates a long long pause. Icons on the desktop move after a restart. CD rom will not open or eject. Virus scan says system is clean. Reinstalling Windows did not help.

Through "control panel" I changed my mouse settings. All fine until I reboot or power down. Then, all the mouse default seetings return. Bottom line, it's not saving my changes.
