I have 5.37GB file on my desktop containing copies of files that were copied from system when we had a boot virus. Is it interfering with performance. I have tried to copy it to disk but "access is denied". Ideas??

I am running Windows 98 SE. Recently the use of the PC was transferred to my kids (insert laughter here). Shortly after their tweaks I found startup problems far greater than I have experience with.

I am running a Win98SE machine. RAM=256MB. On startup, even without having any user-app loaded, RUNDLL32 crashes (in technical terms, "causes an invalid page fault") ! Here's the error:
