I have 5.37GB file on my desktop containing copies of files
that were copied from system when we had a boot virus. Is
it interfering with performance.  I have tried to copy it
to disk but  "access is denied".  Ideas??

I am running Windows 98 and my PC is not running well. I
keep running out of memory, I have 128mb of ram. When I
reboot, I keep gettin these errors when I come onto the

was transferred to my kids (insert laughter here).  
Shortly after their tweaks I found startup problems far
greater than I have experience with.

find     'c:\windows\system\vxdmgr32.exe'(or one of its
components). make surethe path and file names are correct

I am running a Win98SE machine. RAM=256MB.
On startup, even without having any user-app loaded, RUNDLL32 crashes
(in technical terms, "causes an invalid page fault") !

I recently attempted to upgrade my AOL software from 8.0
to 9.0. I received a message "not enough hard drive".
Contacted AOL and was advised, i did,in fact, have enough
