when I start my computer or solitaire I get the following:

out.Also takes ages to boot up and I can't get my own

When ever I start my computer or solitaire I get the
following error message:
This program has performed an illegal operation and will
shut down.  If program persists contact the program vendor.

My PC froze while opening a saved photo on floppy. I took
off disk. Used ctrl+alt+del to reboot. Now, only that this
time my PC will show a blank desk top 2 seconds after the
startup menu bar shows up and then disappear.

My computer stops responding at startup whenever i turn
on my pc. I can get to my desktop with it showing all the
icons and everything. But it then freezes and i can't
click on anything and my keyboard won't work when i try

I currently let Win98 control the size of my swap file automatically,
but recently performance has degraded noticeably, even though I
rebuilt Win98 in January using the same procedures that I have
followed before.

I have a Dell Demension 333 about 5 years old. I am
running Windows 98 (first edition) with 333MH and 320 MB
RAM. I switched from cable to DSL (Verizon) internet
service. My systems resources free was at 79 percent with

My computer crashed therefore I am using a loner. I can't

OS Win98SE:  My computer (Compaq Presario 7360) only
boots in what looks like Safe Mode.  The errors that come
up are:
1) Unhandled exception:c0000005 at address 100016b8

Our computer continues to freeze up and, we have to reboot
by shutting the computer off, then restart.  I am also
having problems with no be able to run a scan disk on the

Documents","Recycle Bin", or short cuts to folders on my
desktop. The only way I can access many of my folders,is

For some reason, the screen looks blurry.
When the PC starts, the Windows boot picture looks just
fine (so I know it's not the monitor).
This happened after I installed DirectX9, and set the

Whenever I try to open any of my saved pictures, I get the
following message.  "Program Not Found. Windows cannot
find manager.exe      This program is needed for opening
files of type 'JPEG Image' "
