slows down and  no memory left, how do I fee up memory ,
clean cache, I do run disk clean up but it dosn't help a
great amount.

I've been using system monitor for a few days now on my
98SE machine. The % usage goes up and down but I often
find that the level will settle at between 50 and 70%
whilst not actually doing anything. However, if I open up

Im running Windows 98 on my 4 year old Compaq with
Internet Explorer.  For about a month, it has been jumpy,
slow, & freezing up.  I've done regular maintenance
including my virus scan with no improvement.  I also use

I am trying to clean up my registry of unused lines using Reg Cleaner.
I have cleaned out most of the lines that I recognize and no longer
want however there are a few left that I don't know if they are part

I have a small network at home and have had shares and mapped drives for
some time.  They are setup for reconnect on reboot.
Just recently one of my computers running Win 98 displays an error stating
it cannot reconnect previously mapped drives because "not enough memory

My friend has windows 98.  He is trying to improve the colour, but it will only set on the two lowest settings - the others have been "lost", with no options to get them back.  Please help
