When I close programs using ctrl-alt-del, how do I know
what I am closing.  How do I find out what everything is.  
I know not to close systray and explorer but what is
everything else?

whenever i turn on my system,it runs like it should till
the fullscreen Windows 98 loading pic comes on.its starts
to load on that screen like usual,but for only about 2
seconds. then the scree comes on that says "it is now

Computer running 98se with Office 2000 installed has
suddenly developed a 'low on resources' problem.
although Excel loads, Word will not load, and eventually
message appears saying system low on resources, close

My IBM desktop has been freezing.  Then, when I try to

week.  Cannot shut down with Start Menu nor with the
computer ON/OFF button.  Ctrl-Alt-Delete ineffective
also.  Only way to shut down is by switching off the power

My computer turn on okay and runs for about 3-5 mins
perfectly before freezing and I have to reboot again. This
happens consistantly everytime I turn it on. Is this a
software or hardware problem? How can I fix this?

I am currently using McAfee Virusscan with Secure IE and
Private IE. I have no viruses detected, but just recently

Im using Windows 98, and for the past couple of weeks, it
has been freezing up constantly.... to the point of
ridiculous!!.... The only way to get out of it, is to re-

I had recently (today) downloaded a new virus protection
(McAfee Stinger).  I was told it was better than norton,
so i downloaded it.  So I figured that I did not need
norton anymore so I deleted it.  Well, now when I start my

Folders in "My Documents" take a huge amount of time to
open after double clicking on them. The computer wouldn't
even boot until I used Go-Back and ended up removing a
bunch of added music files. I dragged the Pictures &
